A small arrival of passerines arrived on Carr Naze in the fog early afternoon, with single Garden Warbler, Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler there; a further 20 Willow Warblers, two Garden Warblers and a Sedge Warbler were in Top Scrub. Little Egrets were on the Brigg and East Lea, a Pomarine Skua, 187 Oystercatchers and three Grey Plovers went south off the Brigg, 11 Turnstones, two Purple Sandpipers, 18 Dunlins, 12 Curlews, three Sanderlings, two Whimbrels and four Redshanks were on it. 87 Sandwich and 11 Common Terns were in the Brigg / Bay Corner. 

The Dams and East Lea held a similarly impresssive cast to recent days, with (between them) 10 Black-tailed Godwits, 30 Lapwing, five Green Sandpipers, 17 Dunlin, a Greenshank, a Ruff, up to 25 Snipe, two Redshanks, two Shelduck, a Wigeon and a Gadwall, while a Whimbrel and Green Sandpiper overflew the Gap.

Yesterday (12th), the Dams and East Lea were equally busy (with additionally a Ringed Plover and a total of six Green Sands), while 12 Curlew were on the sports field and 32 were at North Cliff, Arctic and Great Skuas went south, and 76 Sandwich Terns and an Arctic Tern were on the Brigg.
