A fairly busy week, with highlights including the following: 16th – four Mute Swan, five Manx Shearwater and 90 Sandwich Tern north; 82 Lapwing at the Dams, a Little Egret south at Reighton Sands. 15th – Adult Mediterranean Gull, two Arctic Terns eight Whimbrel south, four little Egrets, 16 Dunlins, an Arctic Skua and 27 Sandwich Terns north; Little Egret, Green Sandpiper and Dunlin at the Dams.

14th – busy on the sea with two juvenile Mediterranean Gulls by the hide and the year’s first juvenile Yellow-legged Gull north in the evening, plus 107 Redshanks, 310 Dunlins, 12 Knot, a Sanderling, three Whimbrels, a Red-throated Diver and six Manx Shearwaters through; at the Dams, a Greenshank, a Green Sandpiper, two Little Egrets, 28 Lapwing; at East Lea, a Snipe. 

13th – an adult Mediterranean Gull and 135 Common Scoters north, two Grey and three Yellow Wagtails south at North Cliff (with odd ones of both wagtail sp. moving through on other days). 12th – an adult Mediterranean Gull, 230 Common Scoters, three Bonxies and an Arctic Skua past the Brigg, an Arctic Tern on it; seven Lapwing and a Snipe at the Dams.

11th – Two Little Egrets, a Common Sandpiper and a Redhank at the Dams, and at least one fledged Water Rail there. 10th – second calendar year Med Gull, two Manx Shearwaters and two Yellow wagtails through at the Gap. Throughout – two Mute Swans, a Wigeon, and up to 15 Teal at the Dams.
