A quiet few days, the standout highlight being an Avocet on the sea offshore at Reighton Sands at dusk on 16th, where a Shelduck also went south; further Shelducks were off North Cliff (six) and south off the Brigg (four). Otherwise a Green Sandpiper was briefly at the Dams today, Sanderlings have numbered eight at the Gap and 17 at Reighton Sands (both 16th), adult Lesser Black-blacked Gulls were off the Brigg (13th) and on Rutland Street (17th). The Velvet Scoter is still off the Brigg.
