A male Merlin was at East Lea today, with a report of a Rough-legged Buzzard over the Country Park (per bird news services). A Great Northern Diver, a Med Gull and a Velvet Scoter passed the Brigg, 25 Grey Partridges were on the Tip and a Hummingbird Hawkmoth was at the Gap.
Yesterday (21st), the Yellow-browed Warbler remained at Donkey Bridge (with five Bramblings there), a Whooper Swan and a Little Egret were at the Dams, another Little Egret cam in off the sea, 52 Teal and 16 Wigeon were at East Lea, and three Short-eared Owls, 14 Crossbills and two Twite concluded a very successful week of public vismigging at the Gap.
