Kingfisher, Dams (Mike Cole)
A Bittern was seen briefly in the reedbed at the back of the Dams late morning, where there were also two Water Rails, a Jack Snipe and a Chiffchaff. Another Chiffchaff was a East Lea, while off the Brigg, four Little Gulls and a (the) Red-necked Grebe were feeding late on, and four Snow Buntings, 16 Little Gulls and a Med Gull moved through. Yesterday (22nd), the Kingfisher remained at the Dams and the Red-necked Grebe was in the bay.
