A Firecrest was along the western hedge of the Tip today, while totals there and along North Cliff combined included 13 Goldcrests, 105 Tree Sparrows, 193 Linnets, three Stonechats, 63 Skylarks, 10 Grey Partridge and 13 Reed Buntings. 34 Redwing, 35 Blackbirds and a Sparrowhawk came in off, 94 Curlew were at the Gristhorpe Reef roost and three Little Gulls went south.
Yesterday (8th), a Snow Bunting was on Carr Naze, a probable Common Swift was reported over the town, 56 Wigeon, 21 Teal, a Shoveler and five Curlews were at East Lea, the Black-tailed Godwit was still at the Dams, while the Gap saw movements of 11 Pink-footed Geese, two Pintail, a Green Sandpiper, 80 Skylarks, 15 Fieldfares, nine Bullfinches, 11 Bramblings, 34 Crossbills,and 48 Siskins. On 7th, a Waxwing and eight White-fronted Geese headed south at the Gap, and a Long-tailed Duck went south off the Brigg.
