Barn Owl, Rocket Pole Field (Mark Pearson)
A sunny and mild day with a light easterly wind produced few new arrivals, although a Spotted Flycatcher in the orchard was a first for the year and wader interest was provided by a Greenshank over, a Little Ringed Plover and two Lapwings at the Dams and a Common Sandpiper at East Lea. The Bluethroat was reported from the same area as yesterday briefly this morning, but not since, while Cuckoos were at the Dams and above Coble Landing.
