Yesterday’s Spoonbill (which arrived during the late afternoon and stuck out the overnight rains) remained until early this morning before leaving to the south. Otherwise, up to three Common Sandpipers have been recorded at East Lea over recent days, as have a roving flock of five Mute Swans (in addition to the three in situ there).
