Black Redstart, bay corner, 20th

A couple of days dominated by stormy weather and often very windy conditions. The sea provided a Pomarine Skua, two Long-tailed Ducks, a Great Northern Diver, two Velvet Scoters and 19 Little Gulls (JS), while 11 Shoveler overflew the town, where two Grey Wagtails are present (often at one of the ravines or along seafront). Two Great Northern Divers and seven Bonxies went south yesterday (21st), while 20th saw a Black-throated Diver heading south (MJP), three Scaup north (JS) and a Black Redstart in the bay corner (MJP).
