An entertaing morning at the Gap (especially for those attending the vismig drop-in session) included a Hen Harrier, 11 Whooper Swans, 115 Skylarks, 62 Golden Plovers, 47 Siskins and two Crossbills, while an Asio owl came in off the sea and a further seven Whoopers went over Muston roundabout, and three went over the golf course. Five Crossbills were in Arndale and three were in the Top Scrub area.
