A Velvet Scoter, a Little Gull and a Great Northern Diver passed the Brigg, 26Purple Sandpipers were on it, 50 Skylarks and 26 Golden Pover went south over Carr Naze, seven Whooper Swans went south at the Gap (with another in the bay), with a late Swallow, three Goosander and a Red-breasted Merganser also south there.
Yesterday (11th), a productive morning at the Gap included a Richard’s Pipit, 146 Chaffinches, 53 Bramblings, three Twite and a late Whimbrel south, plus a Great Northern Diver and a Green Sandpiper present, while two Velvet Scoters and two Stonechats were at Reighton sands, a Little Gull flew past the Brigg and the Snow Bunting was on Carr Naze. On 10th, a Great Northern Diver was in the bay, the Snow Bunting was on Carr Naze, and a Lapland Bunting went south at the Gap.
