A busy day at the Dams was headed up by a flyover Great Egret this morning, with other reports from there including an adult Mediterranean Gull, 100 Lapwings, three Black-tailed Godwits, the juvenile Whooper Swan and the Kingfisher. A minimum of 800 Pink-footed Geese overflew the area during the day, and the male Velvet SCoter was slightly further south, off the Gap. Yesterday (1st), the Whooper was at the Dams with four Curlews and two Redshanks, and 25 Pink-feet flew east.
