The assemblage of White-fronted Geese west of the Dams swelled to 50 today (with 11 Pink-feet), while the Kingfisher and two Great Northern Divers remained in the Brigg area and the Goldeneye was still at the Dams.

A busy day at the Dams was headed up by a flyover Great Egret this morning, with other reports from there including an adult Mediterranean Gull, 100 Lapwings, three Black-tailed Godwits, the juvenile Whooper Swan and the Kingfisher. At the Dams, a Goosander and a Black-tailed Godwit joined the long-staying Kingfisher, up to eight Snow Buntings are in the carr Naze area, while on the sea, a Little Gull and a Grey Plover went south and limited wildfowl movements included 52 Teal and four Pochard. The Black Guillemot remained faithful to the south side of Carr Naze all day today, while four Snow Buntings frequented the latter, the Kingfisher was still at the Dams, while an Arctic and two Great Skuas were the best of a quiet sea.
A day of brisk north-easterlies brought a Black Guiillemot to the south side of the Brigg this afternoon – a just about annual visitor, Black Guillemots do sometimes stick around and the Brigg / bay corner may hold the bird for a while.
